1. Premises and Identification of the Parties

These General Terms and Conditions (Terms and Conditions) govern the access and use of the digital platform Prenota Rifugi – Marketplace CAI, available at https://prenotarifugi.cai.it, by users who intend to make reservations at affiliated mountain huts.

The platform is managed by INERA S.r.l., with registered office in Pisa (PI) via G. Malasoma n. 18, CAP 56121, VAT/Tax Code 01558430508.

By using the Platform, the user fully and unconditionally accepts these Terms and Conditions. Otherwise, the user is invited not to proceed with registration or use of the Platform.

  1. Purpose of the Service

The Platform allows the user to:

  • View the information sheet of mountain huts and accommodation facilities present
     on the Marketplace online platform
  • Check availability and prices
  • Make accommodation reservations
  • Pay the security deposit (“deposit”) required by the facilities.

The Platform acts as a technical intermediary between users and mountain hut managers, but is not a contractual party in the hospitality relationship, which is understood exclusively between the user and the facility manager.

  1. Registration and User Account

Access to booking functionalities requires free registration to the Platform through the provision of correct and complete personal data.

The user is responsible for safeguarding access credentials and for all activities carried out through their account.

  1. Reservations

Reservations are made through the Platform’s online system. Confirmation is subject to successful payment, if required, and is communicated to the user via email.

The user is required to carefully verify the reservation details before confirmation.

  1. Prices, Payments and Commissions

The prices indicated on the Platform are established by the managers of mountain huts and other accommodation facilities and may include taxes and additional costs, where specified.

Payments are processed through the methods indicated on the Platform.

No commission is charged to the user.

  1. Cancellations and Modifications

The conditions for cancellation and modification of reservations are defined by each individual facility and are visible at the time of booking. In case of modification or cancellation of the reservation, penalties or deposit withholdings may be applied, based on what is established and indicated by the facility itself.

  1. Evaluation Questionnaire

At the end of the stay, the user will receive a questionnaire via email to express an evaluation of the booking experience on the prenotarifugi.cai.it platform.

By accepting these Terms and Conditions, the user expressly consents to receive such questionnaire for monitoring and improvement purposes of the service offered.

  1. Platform Responsibility

The Platform is not responsible for any service disruptions, cancellations or problems related to the stay at mountain huts and accommodation facilities, which remain the exclusive responsibility of the facilities themselves.

The Platform’s responsibility is limited to the proper functioning of the booking system, within the limits permitted by law.

  1. User Behavior

The user undertakes to:

  • use the Platform in accordance with the law and these Terms and Conditions;
  • not enter false or misleading data;
  • Respect the rules of the booked facilities.
  1. Personal Data Processing

  1. Terms Modifications

The Platform reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Modifications will be effective from the date of publication on the site, unless otherwise indicated.
